Resistor Series Features High Operating Temperatures

Resistor, hole resistors, metal film resistors

Stackpole Electronics offers its RSF Series and RSMF Series metal oxide thru hole resistors for applications with power requirements beyond that of standard metal film resistors. Due to its power film resistive element and laser spiral calibration, these resistors present alternatives carbon composition resistors and replacements for wirewounds up to 5 W. This series also offers high operating temperatures of up to 200ºC for the RSF ½ and RSMF 1 and up to 235ºC for the other sizes. The RSF Series and RSMF Series are inherently fusible, as all film resistors are, and come with a standard flame retardant coating.
